日前，全球闻名的检测认证和规范开发组织UL（Underwriter Laboratories Inc）宣告，沙特基础工业公司（SABIC）凭仗我国南沙工厂出产的XENOY? T2BX2500UV PC/PET共混塑料产品，成为全世界首家通过UL2809环境影响鉴定，取得趋海塑料含量验证的化工企业。

  这一认证标志着SABIC产品运用在海岸周边消费后再生塑料上迈出了重要一步，助力削减海洋和水体塑料污染。

  UL2809是专门验证产品中收回料含量的规范，第5版UL2809规范增加了海每洋收回塑料含量认证的内容，并在该章节中增加了消费前/消费后收回料搜集对当地经济社会影响的评价。

  海洋塑料一般是指在海岸线公里规模内找到的抛弃塑料。UL全球海洋收回塑料含量验证则是UL针对产品中运用到从海洋中收回的塑料而展开的一种认证服务。取得认证除了产品中要运用到海洋收回塑料外，还需要通过UL严厉的文件审阅和工厂审阅。UL能够做的验证规模为(.1~100%。只要系列新产品的比率差错在3%以内，才能够声明均匀含有的比率，一般是声明最少含有的比率。

  全球抢先的个人电脑、打印机及3D打印解决方案提供商惠普HP于2020年4月16日取得UL全球首个海洋收回塑料含量验证。此次HP通过验证的是5种来源于海洋收回的树脂，通过UL的验证，这些树脂含有5%-99%的海洋收回塑料。
